How to Join

Theres no reason to wait. Sign up now and start networking!
When youre one of us, youll have supportive colleagues
and friends throughout the nation.
Just follow these simple steps:
1.
Choose the membership level right
for you:
- Professional
Any communicator actively engaged in any aspect of communications
for remuneration.
- Student
Those enrolled full- or part-time in a college or university
communications program or related field; and those working
in the communications field who are enrolled in classes.
- Retired
Professionals who have been an NFPW member in good standing
for at least five years and no longer receive substantial
remuneration for work in the communications field.
- At-large
Those living in a state with no affiliate. At-large members
pay only national dues in the professional, student or retired
category, and may compete as an at-large entrant in the
annual communications contest.
Option: Check our list of state affiliates and
join one near you. You pay national and state dues,
compete in the states communications contest and
are eligible to participate in all affiliate activities.
- Corporate
Those companies who wish to support employees membership
in NFPW by signing up five members for the price of four.
To qualify, five membership renewal/application forms must
be submitted with a company check for four memberships.

Determine your dues total
Check the dues chart (.doc, pdf) and
total NFPW, state and local chapter (Kansas only) dues. At-large
members pay only national dues:
NFPW DUES:
Professional: $53
Student: $10
Retired: $20
The dues cycle is based on the calendar year. Those joining between April and August will receive a $20 coupon toward the following year's dues when they renew. Dues paid by those joining in September or later will cover the entire following year.
3.
Complete and submit your application
You may submit your application with credit card information
online through our secure site. Or you may print the application
and mail with your check or pay by credit card. Credit card
is the only form of payment accepted if application is faxed.
Please make your checks payable to National Federation of
Press Women. We will relay appropriate dues to your state
affiliate and any local chapter.

well send you a snappy membership card identifying you
as a member of National Federation of Press Women. Carry it
